Teresa E. (Perrotti) Calitri, of Needham, passed away on Saturday, October 28th, at her home, surrounded by her family. She was 95 years old.
A Needham resident for 91 years, Teresa worked in the cafeteria at the Eliot School for 21 years, retiring in 1977. She was a member of the Needham VFW Auxiliary and a longtime member of Fitness Club for Women in Wellesley. For Teresa, her family was the most important thing in her life and she loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was the beloved wife of the late Peter J. Calitri and the loving mother of Peter A. Calitri of Buzzards Bay and Pamela and her husband Teddy Balabanis of Medway. Loving mother in law of Wendy Calitri and Anne Mitchell. Cherished grandmother of Terri and her partner Steve, Tracy, Jason, Michelle and Leah. Great grandmother of Amma, Spencer, Tyler and Chloe. Sister of the late Millie Caunt, Nick Perrotti and Louis Perrotti.
Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Thursday, November 2nd at 10am, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 11am. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours in the funeral home on Wednesday from 4-7 pm. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery, Needham.
