Sally Jean (Waters) Dugan "Aunt Sally" of Needham and Plymouth, passed away on December 4th, 2016 at the Oakdale Rehabilitation and Skills Nursing Center in West Boylston Ma.
She was born in Brookline Ma on December 26th 1933, the daughter of Carlton E. Waters and Minnie I (Bixby) Waters. She married the love her life William H. Dugan Jr and lived happily in Needham MA for almost 50 years until Billy passes in April of this year. Sally worked for the New England Telephone Company for many years. Sally enjoyed spending summers on Big Sandy Pond in Plymouth with her husband Billy and their many Britany Spaniels. She enjoyed knitting afghans and baby blankets for great nieces and nephews as well as many charitable organizations. Sally and her husband Billy were Patriot season ticket holders for 49 years.
She leaves behind her brother George Waters of California and her Brother- in-law James Dugan of Pomfret Center CT. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews; James Dugan of West Boylston MA, Patricia Duddy and Cathleen Desautels of Holden MA, Colleen Bavosi of Pomfret Center CT, Diane Waters, Yvonne Santiago and Carlton Waters of Costa Mesa California.
A Funeral Service will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Thursday, December 8th at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visitation will be held on Thursday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 prior to the service. Interment will take place in St. Mary's Cemetery.
