Ruth (Worrick, Tillson) Wiswall passed away at 89 peacefully surrounded by family at the Tippett Hospice Home in Needham, MA on Dec 15, 2016. Ruth was born on January 22, 1927 in Needham, MA. She was the loving daughter of Olivia and Percie Worrick. Ruth was pre-deceased by brothers Robert and Richard Worrick. She was also pre-deceased by her first husband, Robert H. Tillson and her son Jeffrey N Tillson. Her surviving children include Scott and his wife Myrna from Antelope, CA, Linda Coutts of Wellesley and Mark and his wife Kerry in Windsor VT. She is also lovingly survived by her second husband David Wiswall, a lifelong resident of Wellesley and his son Peter of Natick MA. She is survived by her grandchildren Christopher, Lydia, Corey, Jay, Kristalyn, Shawn and Jonathan and many great grandchildren that will truly miss Grammy Ruth. Services were private.
Ruth loved children and worked for 20 years as a staff member and later as the Director in the Nursery School at Christ Church, United Methodist, in Wellesley. Ruth also enjoyed bowling, golf, painting and playing bridge and was an avid sewer. She had a contagious smile and a wonderful sense of humor that kept family and friends smiling. She was a great listener and loved her family dearly. In her later years, Ruth and David spent many beloved summers in Harpswell Maine. What was most important to Ruth was to spend time with family and friends. We will dearly miss her and know that she will make heaven a better place.
