Rudolph P. "Rudy" Lomer Jr., a lifelong resident of Newton Upper Falls, passed away on Friday, April 6, 2018 at Watertown Health Care Center. He was 60 years old. Rudy was a hardworking man and a fun guy to be with. He was very family oriented and was an avid fan of the Red Sox and Patriots. Son of the late Rudolph P. and Shirley (Lawson) Lomer, he was the brother of Paul Lomer of Newton, June Lomer of Florida and the late Karl Lomer. He is also survived by 3 nieces, many relatives and friends. Visiting hours in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Sunday, April 15th from 3-6 pm, concluding with prayers. In lieu of flowers, donations in Rudy's name may be made to the Vernon Cancer Center at Newton Wellesley Hospital, 2014 Washington St, Newton MA 02462.
