Roderick A. "Sandy" MacLeod Jr. of Needham, a retired Millis Police Officer, passed away on June 5, 2017.
Sandy was born in Boston, raised in Millis and graduated from Newman Prep and Stonehill College. He served in the US Army Reserve and had served with the Millis Police for over 25 years as the K-9 officer and as a detective. He was a member of the Gunfighters Motorcycle Club and the Norfolk Hunt Assoc.
He was the son of Roderick A. and the late Mary (Flanagan) MacLeod of Needham, and brother of Mary Bogosian and her husband Jasper of Needham, Helen Kurz and her husband Steven of Sherborn and Eileen Bozadjian and her husband William of Needham. He is also survived by many nieces.
His funeral will be from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Ave Needham on Fri June 9 at 10:30 AM followed by interment in St. Mary's Cemetery. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Thurs 4-7 PM.
