Golf Emblem

Paul Armand Graveline had just turned 65 when he passed away on October 22, 2017. He fought a long battle against pancreatic cancer but died sweetly surrounded by love and support from family and friends.
Paul was born on September 25, 1952 to Lauretta and Raymond Graveline of Attleboro, MA. He was the loving brother of Lawrence Graveline of Rumford, RI and the late Claire Johnson of Bourne, MA. He attended St. Joseph school as a young boy and moved on to Bishop Feehan High School where he honed his skills as a student leader, event organizer and athlete. Following high school, Paul pursued his long time hobby in the field of graphic art attending New England School of Design. He secured his first job at Balfour Company in Attleboro. He excelled in creative design, and expanded his skills into art direction and print production. After several years in marketing and advertising at Porter Kane and Workman, he married his high school sweetheart Kathleen Donnelly of North Attleboro, and settled in Needham, MA. He spent the bulk of his career as an executive in sales and print production at Hub Mail Advertising and Dickinson Direct. He continually explored new technologies and ways to position his companies competitively in the direct marketing arena. He retired happily in 2005 to pursue his three passions of travel, golf and landscape oil painting. He proudly launched his own website Paul Graveline Fine Art in 2010. Paul became an active member and resident of both The Ridge Club in Sandwich and Desert Mountain Club in Scottsdale Arizona. After traveling extensively in the US and Europe, Paul and Kathy realized a long time dream of living in Paris, France. Buying, renovating and selling French properties became a joy and amusement to Paul. His greatest pastime was to sit and paint by the open French Doors of his apartment on the Seine. Paul never lost sight of who he was and where he came from, always commenting, "I'm a lucky guy!". Paul was a man of faith, love and constant laughter. He will be missed by his large family and incredible circle of friends but most especially by his nieces and nephews, Meredith, Patrick, Johnny, Jason, Melissa and Allison, who he loved as his own children. Paul will never be forgotten for his desire to make people laugh and enjoy.
Calling Hours will be Friday, October 27th from 4pm to 8pm at Eaton Funeral Home in Needham, MA. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Needham at 11:30am.
Many thanks to his family, close friends, Dana Farber doctors and nurses and Hope Hospice of Cape Cod for support during his challenging illness.
Donations in Paul's name may be made to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute for Pancreatic Research, c/o Contribution Services, 10 Brookline Pl, 6th Floor, Brookline MA 02445.
