Nina Marie (McKee) Sullivan, 88, of Dover MA, and recently of Middlesex, VT, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on January 30, 2017. Nina (9-ah) was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma on July 25, 1928. She was the only child of James P. McKee and Hollis (Earp) McKee of Wichita, Kansas. She was a graduate of Mount Carmel Academy in Wichita. She attended The University of Iowa. As a young woman, Nina worked for United Airlines as a stewardess in the early1950's. She met the love of her life Joseph C. Sullivan, and they were married on February 21, 1953. They were a devoted couple for 42 years until his death in 1995. Nina was an active member of the Charles River Country Club in Newton, MA. She enjoyed golfing, socializing, and bridge, and she was fond of hosting family dinners there. Nina was an avid reader who appreciated fine art and gourmet food. A skilled crossword player and Jeopardy wiz, Nina was an aficionado of movies from the golden age through modern times. She is survived by her son Joseph M. Sullivan, his wife Kenna of Brighton, MA, and their three children: Sean, Connor, and Ryan; daughter Gail M. Sullivan, her husband John V. Puleio of Middlesex, VT, and their three children: Cecelia, Sophia, and Claire; and daughter Jill F. Brown, her husband Randall Brown of Danville, VT and their two children: Jessica and Holly. Visiting hours will be held in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Thursday, February 2nd from 4-7pm. Relatives and friends ae kindly invited to attend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in the Church of the Most Precious Blood, 32 Centre St, Dover, on Friday, February 3rd at 10 am. Interment will follow at Highland Cemetery, Dover.
