Moira E. Woods, of Fort Meyers FL, formerly of Needham, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2017, after a courageous six-year battle with brain cancer at the Hope Hospice House in Florida. She was 58 years old. Moira was raised in Needham, attended Needham Public Schools and was a graduate of Needham High School Class of 1977. She was he devoted mother of Brent F. Woods Williams of Fort Meyers and the beloved life partner of the late Chuck Williams. Moira was the dear daughter of Regina (Cawley) and the late Francis L. Woods of Needham and sister of Martha Winebarger and her husband Craig of Greenville, SC, Catherine Tilton and her husband John, Eric Woods and his wife Sharon, all of Needham and the late Barbara Cote of Westwood and the aunt of David Waterhouse, Catherine and Alex Winebarger of South Carolina, Cassandra and Connor Cote of Westwood, Molly and Eleanor Tilton, and Hannah Woods all of Needham. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend visiting hours the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Monday, July 24th from 4-7 pm. Funeral Mass and Burial are private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Moira's name may be made to Hope Hospice, 1201 Wings Way, Lehigh Acres, FL 33936, or to the MGH Adult CF Program, 50 Staniford St, Suite 801, Boston MA 02114.
