Malcolm A. Stone of Franklin formerly of Wellesley died on July 3, 2015 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was 88.
Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Malcolm had been a member of the International Union of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers for many years and was a Past Master of Brookline Lodge AF & AM. He was also a longtime active member of the Newton Presbyterian Church.
Malcolm was the husband of the late Marjorie (Fisher) Stone, the father of Muriel MacLeod and her husband John of Franklin, grandfather of Andrew MacLeod of Franklin, Amanda MacLeod and her husband Alex Wenger of Easthampton and Philip MacLeod of Franklin, and the brother of Barbara MacDonald, Harvey Stone, Betty Miles, Bertha Stone, Bernard Stone all of Sydney Nova Scotia.
His funeral service will be held on Fri July 10 at 11 AM in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. Newton Corner followed by interment in The Gardens at Gethsemane in West Roxbury. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours are Thurs 5-7 PM.
