Howard S. Lipkin, 79, of Watertown, formerly of Brooklyn, NY, November 28, 2016 as a result of injuries sustained in a tragic accident. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary Ann Monheimer, who passed away on November 26, 2016. Loving step father of Eric Monheimer and his wife Sheri of Needham and Holly Monheimer and her husband Jan-Ivar Bruaroey of Denville, New Jersey. Adored grandfather of Brandon, Jake and Ashley Monheimer and Oliver Bruaroey. Survived by many cousins and his very dear friend Hsueh-tze Lee. Howard received his Master's degree in Social Work from Simmons College. He worked at the Eliot Community Human Services Inc. and the Lynn Crisis Center. Howard enjoyed biking, walking, dance, music, playing violin, helping people, and spending time with his grandchildren. A Private Memorial Service and private burial will be held at a later date.
