Ernest J. Hohengasser, Sr. formerly of Needham, age 87 years, went to be with his Lord on May 11, 2018.
He was the beloved husband of 65 years of the late Alice Hohengasser. He is survived by his son Ernie and his wife Joy of West Bridgewater and their children Jill McDaniel, Erik Hohengasser and Jenny Anderson; his son Dave and his wife Mary Lynn of Punta Gorda, FL and their children Max and Melanie; his daughter Cheryl Gervasi and her husband Ed of Tolland CT and their children Amanda and Diane; his 13 great-grandchildren; and his sister Irmgard Petersante of Greenfield, MA, his brother Herbert Hohengasser and his wife Yolanda of Greenfield, MA and his sister Elaine Lundquist of San Antonio, TX.
Ernest was a Registered Master Electrician and former Wiring Inspector for the Town of Needham. Visitation will begin at 10 AM on Thursday, May 17 in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave (Exit 19C off Rte. 128) Needham, followed by a service to celebrate his life at 11 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment with Military Honors will take place in Needham Cemetery.
