Edward Carlisle Nazzaro died peacefully on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at the Pond Home in Wrentham, MA. where he lived for the past several years. Born in 1926, Ed was raised in Jamaica Plain and attended Boston English High School. The day after graduation, Ed enlisted in the Navy and proudly served his country from 1944 - 1946. At the conclusion of his service, he attended and graduated from Boston College in 1951. Ed went on to become a successful sales person spending his career at FMC corporation. His business included selling to international markets, and traveling throughout the world. Of his many international travels, he was especially fond of the Southeast coast of Ireland. After a rewarding career with FMC, Ed retired near the sea at Falmouth, Massachusetts and enjoyed many years sailing and relaxing at the Falmouth Yacht Club. Edward's parents both preceded him: Rose Olivie Carlisle Nazzaro (d. 1975) & Edward Martino Nazzaro (d. 1984). Edward is survived by his only sibling Rosemary Therese Hamel. Ed will be missed by his four nieces and nephews and his five great- nieces and nephews, as well as, the entire Nazzaro and Hamel families. Edward was laid to rest at the family gravesite in Needham, MA in a private family funeral. Arrangements were handled by the Eaton Funeral Home of Needham.
