Dorothy B. (Piecewicz) Womboldt, passed away on Dec 17, 2016, at St. Patrick's Manor in Framingham. She was 92.
Dorothy was born in Salem and had worked for over 20 years in the Marsha Jordan Teen department at Jordan Marsh. She had lived Natick for many years and also over 30 years in Deltona FL. She was a member of the New England Club of Deltona FL. She enjoyed music and loved to knit and crochet.
She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Paul Womboldt the loving mother of Patricia J. Womboldt of West Roxbury, Sr. Mary Rose of the Discalced Carmelite Convent of Denmark WI, and John M. of Jacksonville, FL. Sister of Helena F. Ruane of Mansfield and the late Dr. John M. Piecewicz. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St Newton Corner on Wed Dec 28 at 9:30 AM followed by her Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St Newton at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery Needham. Visiting hours Tues 4-7 PM.
