David H. Hulihan died suddenly of cardiac arrest at his home in Needham on May 12, 2018. David was born in Manhattan, NY on April 10, 1939, he son of Harry and Dorothy (Hightower) Hulihan. He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Joan (Bloch), his daughter, Elisabeth Hulihan of Needham and his sister, Sheila Blake, of Pismo Beach California.
David graduated from the Hill School in 1957 and received a B.A. from Middlebury College in 1961. He served in the Army Signal Corp as a First Lieutenant from 1961 to 1963 and graduated from Columbia School of Architecture with an M.Arch.
While living in New York, David worked at Harrision & Abromovitz on the Exxon Building in Rockefeller Center. After moving to Needham, he was a project manager at Hoyle, Doran & Berry, Inc., until becoming President in 1990 to 1998.
