Christine Ann Gentile of Newton passed away peacefully after a long illness surrounded by her family on December 25, 2016.
Devoted daughter of the late Joseph and Rose (DeSantis) Gentile of Newton. Beloved mother to Christopher and Melissa (Mitchell) Fournier of Newton and Danielle (Fournier) and Zachary Fayssoux of Newton. She is also survived by her brother, Stephen Gentile, and many cousins and friends.
Christine was a talented artist and Bachelor of Fine Arts graduate of Massachusetts College of Art. She was a passionate collector of antiques and lover of animals. Christine was proud of her work as an administrative assistant at New England OB-GYN and will be greatly missed.
Visiting hours in the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home, 465 Centre Street, NEWTON, Friday, December 30th from 4-7PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Our Lady Help of Christians Church, NEWTON, Saturday, December 31st at 10:30AM.
