Arthur J. Morell, 82, of Franklin, formerly of Needham, passed away October 12th, 2017. He was a US Army, Korean War Veteran. Arthur was a retired Needham firefighter. He enjoyed fishing, sailing, building and flying model airplanes. He loved gardening and had over 100 variety of Daylilies in his garden. Beloved husband of Nancy D. Morell. Loving father of Lauren Podhany and her husband John of Franklin, Barbara Seeglitz and her husband William of Medfield, Edward Morell and his wife Donna of Millis, Steven Morell and wife Audra of Medway, and Brenda Morell of Wrentham, as well as 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Funeral Services in the Eaton Funeral Home, 1351 Highland Ave, Needham, on Tuesday, October 17th at 11 am. Relatives and friends kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Monday from 4-7PM. Interment with Military Honors at Needham Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in Arthur's name can be made to Dana Farber Cancer Institute, PO Box 849168, Boston MA 02284.
