Condolence & Memory Journal

My condolences to the family of Dick Kee. My husband Bill and I worked with Dick may years ago at Polaroid. He was a kind and wonderful person. May he rest in peace.

As the sister-in-law of the late Jack Klein and sister of the late Ruth Klein, I must send my condolences to the family of Dick Kee. Jack and Ruth thought the world of Dick and Jennie Kee and enjoyed many social times together. I believe Jack worked with Dick and had much respect for him. I always heard about the Kees, the kindness of them both and the fun they had together. Jack especially loved that Dick introduced him to bird's nest soup! How fortunate you all were to have Dick Kee as the important family man. My very best to you all, Janet O'Hara Kane 491 Pleasant St. South Weymouth, MA 02190

Richard played basketball in Roslindale. I didn't see a basketball ball so picked a roundball (even if it is a baseball). Often he and I guarded each other. He was incredibly tenacious and skilled and played hard never letting me get free. All the players liked and respected him. We will miss him.

Dear Jennie,
Richard, your forever Prince, will continue to hold a very special
place in my heart.
Our sixty year friendship is full of precious memories.
Under the tree, waiting for his girl. The happy groom on your wedding day.
The proud dad as each child was born. His delight as grandchildren
filled your lives.
The happy times, Christenings, Weddings, Traveling to China.
The sad times,many funerals.
Richard was always present, with dear Jennie by his side.
Thank you for enriching our lives.
Karin, Kevin, Kelly, Kerry, my Godchildren, your memories of a very
special dad will sustain you at this difficult time.
Love to all. Pat

On behalf of the Yen family and Sifu Bow Mark Yen, Richard's long time Tai Chi teacher, we were all very fond of Richard who was always kind, warm and friendly. Richard was a dedicated student at the CWRI and Sifu Mark will always remember him as part of her school's long history. RIP.

My first remembrance of Rich was when we played senior basketball together at
Newton and Roslindale. I was always amazed at his agility on the court considering his age, and I attribute a lot of that to his love of Tai Chi. In fact, he gave free classes of Tai Chi at the Roslindale Community Center before we began our basketball sessions. He always made himself available, he always made everyone around him feel special, and he was loved by everyone. He will be truly missed by all his fellow players, but not forgotten. May he RIP.

He'll be truly missed by all his basketball playing buddies in Roslindale. He was truly an inspiration to us all. Always smiling, always happy. A true gentleman.
