Kathleen R. (Kelleher) McKenna, of Watertown, passed away February 17, 2016. Beloved wife of the late Francis J. McKenna. Loving mother of Francis J. McKenna Jr. of Watertown and Maureen Bligh of Millbury. Dear grandmother of 2 grandchildren. Daughter of the late George and Mildred (Beck) Kelleher. Dear sister of Marie Morrissey and her husband Bernie of Bedford, Patricia Higgins and her late husband Robert of Needham, Jack Kelleher and his wife Rita of Framingham and Joe Kelleher and his wife Kelly of Millville. Sister in law of Arthur McKenna of Waltham. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral from the Eaton and Mackay Funeral Home, 465 Center St, NEWTON CORNER on Tuesday, February 23rd at 9:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady Help of Christians Church at 10:30AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours are in the funeral home on Monday from 4-7PM. Interment at St. Mary's Cemetery in Needham.
In lieu of flowers donations in Kathleen's name may be made to the Watertown Fire Department, 99 Main Street, Watertown MA 02472. Kathleen was born in Cambridge, was a graduate of Newton North High School and enjoyed being a homemaker for her family.
