Mr. Hummel was the finest teacher I ever had. My life has been far richer for having him as my teacher and my friend. I am deeply sorry for your loss.

Mr. Hummel was my homeroom and English teacher. It was my best year of English study. He made it fun and interesting. For some reason I was thinking of him on Sunday. May he rest in peace and I will always remember him fondly as a great teacher.

I had Mr. Hummel for German, along with Paul and Tom. I had lots of trouble with it and Mr. Hummel never lost patience with me.

Fondest memories of being introduced to German 1 and Shakespeare, as well as discussing possible family connections, by this gentle man. May he rest in the delight of his Lord!
