From time to time I return to these loving messages to be reminded of what Bill meant to so many. Bill was my oldest child, from the time he was born he had this happy countenance about him that could not be denied. He grew and that never changed. He was always that person you knew, as co-worker, client and friend. He was such a hard worker and took all of that seriously, at the same time relaxed enough to

I worked with Bill while he was an analyst at IDC. He was passionate about his work and an absolute pleasure to work with. It was very sad to learn of his passing. My condolences.

I worked with Bill for four years at FTN Equity Capital, where he was a real mentor to me. I remember his deep curiosity, sharp wit, and mirthful sense of humor. He never seemed happier to me than when he would talk about his wife and daughters. I know he will be missed very much.

It was with great sadness that I learned of Bill's sudden passing. I first met Bill ~8 years ago when he was with Celent and I was briefing him on analytics technology for financial services from SAS. We both realized that we had many parallel tech industry career experiences and became good friends. We kept in touch on a regular basis and our last chat was March 19 at the IDC Directions reception the night before his keynote address the

I worked with Bill at FTN and always knew him to be a wonderful man with a great sense of humor, a sharp mind, and a warm compassion for all - especially his girls. Hearing he had passed made me very sad, he will be missed.

Bill was a charming, funny, witty man - the kind you think will always be there. I didn't know him very well and we were no longer work colleagues, but every time I saw him he would smile, shake my hand, and give me some kind words and the news of the day. I'm surprised to hear this news, and so sad for his family, who Bill clearly cherished. Many anecdotes began with a story about one of his daughters.

I am shocked and saddened by Bill's passing. We worked together at Celent/Oliver Wyman, but we also went to the same school, Babson College, and so we always shared the stories, the jokes... a true friend. He always found a reason to laugh. Nothing would stop him, so full of energy. He was so proud of his three daughters, of how smart and beautiful they are. We would share boys and girls' kids stories, as I have two boys. He

My world feels a little dimmer since I received this news. Bill and I haven't worked together for a few years but we managed to stay in touch sporadically. He truly was a funny, loyal, and compassionate friend. I will miss his stories and updates about his girls. How fortunate you are to have had him for a father. Bill, I will miss you always but know you are watching over us all.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Bill's sudden passing. I worked with Bill briefly at IDC - he was friendly and always in a good mood and extremely helpful. We both grew up in Needham and would share stories about our time at NHS and he would often send me random articles and facts about always made me laugh! My thoughts and prayers go to Bill's family.
