Dear Jody,
I am so sorry to hear about Eli. Boston Latin School was very blessed to have such a stellar alumnus. His charm, leadership and devotion ensured that the Class of 1944 was viewed as a very special group. I was truly blessed to know him and well recognize what a great couple you two have always been. My sympathy to you and the family.

Dear Jody,
I am so saddened to hear of Eli's passing this week. Your husband was a wonderful man who throughly enjoyed life, friends and family. My thoughts and prayers for you, Andrea, your sons and your grandchildren. What a tremendous loss. For almost twenty summers I have enjoyed seeing you and Eli at Longwood and we will all miss him terribly.
Thinking of you my friend at this very sad time.
With love,
Daria

My heart goes out to Jody and Eli's family. I loved his curiosity and zest for life. He loved to travel and we swapped stories and information about travel to China and Tibet. He was a boon to his family and to his community . RIP, Eli.

My thoughts and prayers go out to Jody and the family. There are so many wonderful memories of Eli and Jody, parties at their home, sailing, being greeted by Eli's Mother at their home. Eli will be missed. Rest in peace.

Eli..a wonderful, faithful friend in times of sunshine or sorrow. He will surely be missed by all those who were lucky enough to know and enjoy his company during his many years here on earth..myself included, wife of Lou Tessier, BLS Classy Class of '44!
May you rest in peace, Eli, and peace be with your loved ones, Jody and family, as they focus on the wonderful memories you made together during your amazing lifespan.
