Haim will always be part of my life. Sometimes I imagine him nearby, see him in my mind's eye and miss him always.

Dear family Goldberg
I just found this site so i hope you understand the regrettable tardiness of this message. I always looked up to Chaim. His perpetual warmth, good humor and gentle demeanor were contagious. It was not merely his accomplishments which were outstanding, but the humility with which he bore them was what was most inspiring.
Since I spoke to Joel after i first read of Chaim's passing, I have taken the responsibility of saying Kaddish for him at least once

Dear Miriam,
I cannot imagine the depth of your sadness. My heart goes out to you. We had just arrived on Cape when Bobby Lynch told us of Haim's passing. I recall with admiration, as Haim would devotedly wait for you on the beach to complete your morning swim, and his chats with us,asking about the well-being of our family. He was a rare individual, just as sweet as he was brilliant. Please know Gary and I are thinking of you

Dear Miriam, Joel and Maya, We were saddened to read about Haim's passing. We have fond memories of Haim and your family in St. Donat many years ago. We recall his good humour and unique chuckle, as well as the fun volleyball games held every Saturday and Sunday mornings. When he visited St Donat in the latter years, he talked so lovingly about his family. He will be sorely missed. Our sympathies to all.

Miriam, Maya, Joel and family
Our sincerest condolences on the loss of dear Haim.
We will always remember our years together in St. Donat. Our wonderful conversations sitting on the porch sharing stories and catching up on what was going on in the family. We will remember him as a man of great warmth, humor, creativity, gentleness and and intellectual curiosity. He will truly be missed.
