I always get a laugh when this shows up in the inbox of my email.
It is so Jackie and how I remember him. A cigarette and a dog on his lap. The 2 things he
never got sassy with.

I was sad about Uncle Jacky passing on.
But, am glad to see that there is somewhere I can send a donation in his name.

During one summer visiting my folks, they headed out on vacation a day before Raven and I were to head home.
Jackie had offered to drive me and Raven to the airport.
I was closing my suitcase, which was wicked over packed, and Jackie showed up to drive us to the airport. He saw me struggling to close my luggage. He says
"What! Do we have to call Shelly Winters to come and sit on that to close it up."
To this day I always think of him when packing and closing uo a suitcase.

To The Murphy Families,
Sorry to read of Jackie's passing. My condolences and prayers go out to all. We didn't see much of each other over the decades. The last time was at Ralph's and Cathy's house. Please let Cathy's girls know that when we are in Waltham we still order "boring" food at the Chateau!

I will be unable to make Friday's services.
My thoughts will be on Jackie and all those who will be there tomorrow.
Whether I am in the mountains of Jamaica or walking about the city of Kingston I will pause and think of Jackie.K

I will always remember coming over to Proctor St, And helping you count you're pennies and roll them, when I was little and thinking it was the greatest thing. I will miss you and I will miss watching the Bruins and patriots and Red Sox with you. I have many many childhood memories of you . Rest In Peace, uncle Jackie.I love you.
