I was saddened to hear about Eileen's passing. Eileen and I worked together at Rogerson House. Eileen was an amazing advocate to all her patients and took the time to get to know them. I was always impressed with how much care and compassion she offered to her patients, families as well as colleagues.
May Eileen rest in peace for she helped give peace to many that she cared for.
With sadness,
Sharon Brightman, LICSW

I was saddened to read of Eileen's death.I knew her through the Brookline Senior Center. She was a wonderful nurse, dedicated to caring for the elderly. She will be missed.

We were deeply saddened to learn the about Eileen! Because we are away, we cannot attend the memorial for her today but wanted to pay her a tribute for all that she was and did for so many.

For many years, Eileen cared for our good friends, Ann and Kay Macdonald. During that time, we learned so much from her - love, care, compassion, and dedication. She was the "go-to" for all medical decisions and home care for the Macdonalds.

You will be missed in the Arboretum. You greeted all with a happy smile and shared news of our environment. Wherever you go in another journey, I'm sure you will add the same.

We met Eileen in 1990 on a dog walk in the Forest Hills Cemetery. After that, there were countless walks with the girls (her Gracie and our Yomi) at the cemetery and at Peters Hill, dinners, and afternoons and evenings just hanging out. When we went into the hospital for the birth of our twins just before Christmas, Yomi of course stayed with Eileen and when we came home a week later, the sweetest little Christmas tree all decorated by

My deepest sympathy for Eileen's family and friends. We would see each other from time to time walking our dogs on the golf-course, the arboretum or Allendale Woods. And as other people have mentioned, she would know all the dogs and their owners along the way. We always had great conversations, and would just pick up where ever we had left off, whether that was the day before, or 3 months ago. I will really miss her and her dogs....
