William J. "Doc", Cleary Obituary

William J. "Doc" Cleary, a lifelong Newton resident, passed away on Apr 29, 2016.
A lifelong Newton resident, Doc graduated from Newton High School and served as a Sgt. in the Army National Guard. He had worked as diesel mechanic for the City of Newton for over 30 years and was a longtime member of Div. 14 AOH of Watertown.
Doc was the husband of the late Eleanor (Angelo) Cleary, and the loving father of Karin Cleary Conti of Watertown, Donna Beacham of Westerly RI and the late Diane Ricci. He was the grandfather of Brian Ricci, Nicole Sabatino, Jessica Ricci, William Conti, Nicholas Conti and Brianna Conti and great grandfather of Ava, Michael and Aliyah. He was also the brother of Peg and Danny Cleary of Newton and the late John "Jack" Cleary and Mary Louise Cleary.
His funeral will be from the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St Newton Corner on Tues May 3 at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick's Church, Watertown at 9 AM. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Ridgelawn Cemetery Watertown. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Visiting hours Mon 4-8 PM.
